Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Equipment

  • Large Skillet
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Marinate pork cubes with half the garlic, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Sear pork in a single layer, in batches, for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat and cook remaining garlic for 30 seconds.
  5. Return pork to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter.
  6. Add lemon juice, stir through, and remove from heat.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pat pork dry before marinating for a better sear.
  • Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan and losing heat.
  • Pull pork from heat as soon as it is cooked through to avoid toughness.
